JESSICA FRANZ – WRITER/DIRECTOR
Jessica studied at the International Academy of Performing Arts Stuttgart and began her professional career as an actress in Germany with roles in feature films as well as numerous guest appearances on national TV shows. She won the national writing competition SAT.1 Talent Class, wrote/directed a short film for the German BR network and worked at the TV giant Constantin Entertainment as a project manager. In 2012, Jessica founded the production company Triple Threat Pictures, which has produced award-winning short films, commercials and music videos. Their latest short "A Child" has garnered over 500,000 views on YouTube. Jessica's current projects as a writer include the 120 min. dramedy "Imperfect", the feature film version of Chew entitled "The Perpetrator" and the dramatic thriller, limited TV series "Grandeur".  

ALEX LAMPSOS - PRODUCER
Alex Lampsos, a Canadian native and graduate of the New York Film Academy, launched his career by landing a managerial venture at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival for a vibrant two-festival run. Since his move to LA in 2013, Alex produced a total of ten films resulting in over 15 festival selections and awards, including an ambitious short film based on a Chekhov play, a romantic drama, and his first short film "Thylacine" with over 1.5 million views on YouTube. His feature film debut "Cherry Pop" won Best Feature Comedy at the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema, London. He has three more feature films in the pipeline, a series of music videos and short films.

EVA G. SZIGRISZT – PRODUCER
Eva, a producer from Spain, moved to LA over five years ago. After building a career in the national theater, Eva decided to pursue her dream of filmmaking after obtaining a grant to study in the New York Film Academy. She graduated by the end of 2012. Since then, Eva has already worked in the development departments of Bold Films (Drive, Nightcrawler) and Vendome Pictures (Source Code, Larry Crowne) and has already produced a number of award-winning short films ( Bite! the Musical, Mi Gallo, No hay Sistema). Her most recent project - the feature film “Yo Soy Un Politico” (I’m a Politician)- just got acquired by the renowned cable network HBO for US distribution and the film is now in Cannes for international sales. She is currently shopping several projects as a writer.

HANUMAN BROWN-EAGLE - CINEMATOGRAPHER

Hanuman is a Kansas native and has accumulated a staggering amount of projects over the course of his relatively short career. Five feature films, 100 shorts, 30 music videos, several TV shows and over 1000 commercials. His keen eye and big heart makes him a fantastic asset for any production. Fangoria Magazine just wrote a four page article about him, his last film is being released by Lionsgate and his work has won multiple awards. One of his feature films aired on Showtime and his work was featured on TNT, A&E, ABC, CMT, MTV, OWN, DBS, and The Movie Channel.

NICKI KATZ - CASTING
Nicki grew up in San Diego and got her start in the film industry in San Francisco through documentary filmmaking. After attending Cal State University Northridge, she began her casting career while auditioning actors and scouting people for national commercials. Nicki has had the pleasure of being on the casting departments of several hit television shows, feature films, music videos, and award-winning short films. She 
works as an Independent Casting Director as well as a casting assistant at major casting offices during pilot season. Her recent credits include "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and the Golden Globe winner "Transparent." 

NORA WYMAN - "LISA 'CHEW' HOFFMAN"

Nora, an LA native, studied Spanish at USC, and spent time traveling and living abroad. Along with her theatrical training, she has honed her sketch writing skills at The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade. Nora and her partner spent time performing original sketches in some of LA’s best know comedy clubs, and were nominated for Best Sketch Show and Best Comedy Duo at "LA Comedy Fest." Nora is an accomplished voice over actor for radio/television commercials, interactive games, TV shows and features.

 

“I am so excited to join the cast of ‘Chew.’ Having lost my own mother to cancer in 2013, Chew’s struggle is one that I know intimately. I love this film’s exploration of personal struggle. Dan and Chew remind us that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that everyone’s journey to find it is unique. I cannot wait to bring these rich characters to life.”

HUNTER GARNER - "DAN MEYERS"

Hunter is a Texas native who started out as an All State Champion track runner. His athleticism earned him a scholarship to Baylor University, where he graduated with a Bachelor in Exercise Physiology. After a series of injuries ended his promising career, Hunter discovered his passion for acting and moved to LA. His first role was in the Lions Gate thriller, "The Final", which was followed up with guest star appearances, commercials, and a supporting role in a Lifetime movie. On the side, Hunter builds custom furniture and is a volunteer leader in his community. 

 

"I'm honored to be a part of this project. Dan is such an inspiring character in how he deals with his life-changing injury. Although my experience hasn't been as traumatic, I've spent some time in a wheelchair, so I can relate somewhat to the challenges that come with it. It's films like this that make the world a better place."
 

MEGAN MESSMER - "MINA PRIEST"

Megan Messmer, a Michigan native, will be seen on the upcoming season of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”. She recurs on Nickelodeon’s comedy “Awesomeness TV” as well as working consistently with Dreamworks TV online. Megan starred in four Independent films last year, all gaining critical acclaim and garnering “Best Drama”, among other festival awards. Her most recent film, “About Sisters”, premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival. In addition to acting, Megan has produced/starred in two pilots and is currently working on a documentary. 

HENRY LEBLANC - "BROCK ADAMS"

Henry LeBlanc is an actor/producer/writer from Boston. LeBlanc’s TV credits include appearances on “ER”,  “24”, “Everybody Loves Raymond”, “Law and Order”, “Scrubs,” “Boston Public” and others.  He is also one of Jay Leno’s regular comedy sketch actors. His film credits include lead roles in “Custom Mary” (HBO International Latin Film Festival), “Resilience”, “West New York”, and “Antebody” (Worldfest Gold Jury Winner).  He holds an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University and teaches at the UCLA extension program. LeBlanc recently produced a feature.

JEAN ST. JAMES - "SHANNON HOFFMAN"

Jean graduated from Kansas State University where she took theater and performed with the Continental Theatre Company.  Soon after, Jean came to LA and performed with The Groundlings for a year, before taking on roles in TV and film.  Some of Jean’s many film credits are: “Charlie Wilson’s War,” “Safe,” “Death Becomes Her” and “Cocktail.”  Her extensive TV credits include “Franklin and Bash”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, “Criminal Minds”, “Weeds”, “Ghost Whisperer”, “House”, “The Unit” and “Friends.” Jean is also the proud mother of Martin Starr.

SEAN MICHAEL BOOZER - "TED BAKER"

Sean is an award-winning actor/writer/director who performed at UCB, The Comedy Store and The Groundlings. He can be seen in his monthly iOWest Show "The Greene Boozer Elixir" and has appeared in the Emmy award-winning “The Shield” as well as a short film, directed by John Landis. He's a winner of Drama Beat’s Improviser of the year, a Drama Critics Circle Award and has appeared on multiple tv-shows. Additionally, he teaches improv at the SAG Conservatory and volunteers at the “Young Storytellers Foundation.” He is currently developing a series.
